Uzbek compatriots working on British farms gather for a community celebration
Around 200 compatriots employed on farms across the United Kingdom took part in a gathering organised by Uzbekistan’s Embassy, the Vatandoshlar Public Fund and a local Uzbek restaurant. The event focused on cultural ties, solidarity and support for citizens working abroad.
University of Warsaw hosts an international discussion on Uzbekistan’s development
Academics, diplomats, parliamentarians and experts discussed the Uzbekistan 2030 strategy, education, human capital and opportunities for cooperation with Poland. A Polish-language edition of the strategy was presented at the conference.
Uzbekistan and Denmark open direct dialogue between business communities
An online meeting linked Uzbek institutions with the Confederation of Danish Industry and major Danish companies. The parties discussed logistics, aviation, utilities, energy efficiency and industrial cooperation, and agreed to continue company-level contacts and explore business missions.

Uzbek music and dance presented to the public in Athens
A cultural evening organised by Uzbekistan’s Embassy in Rome and the Greek-Eurasian Association introduced an Athens audience to Uzbek music, dance, national costumes and contemporary songs. The programme featured the Sharq Sadolari folklore ensemble and singer Sunnatillo Doston.
Rustam Bazarov’s exhibition presents Uzbek contemporary art in Russia
An exhibition of 60 works by Uzbek artist Rustam Bazarov opened with the support of Uzbekistan’s Embassy in Russia. Uzbek national dance and cuisine complemented the programme, which promotes cultural exchange and professional contacts between creative communities.
Nukus technical school introduces an international vocational programme
Technical School No. 1 has introduced the British Pearson BTEC programme, combining theory with practical training in new workshops and digital laboratories. Graduates are expected to receive qualifications recognised in more than 70 countries, while dual education remains planned for regional industries.
Twenty Uzbek specialists begin semiconductor training in South Korea
A joint intensive programme at Soongsil University is training 20 specialists from Uzbekistan in integrated-circuit design, assembly, packaging and testing. The course runs from 15 September to 14 November and also supports wider Uzbek–Korean technology cooperation.
Tashkent cultural programme brings together diaspora representatives and youth
The Azerbaijan Cultural Center marked composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli’s 141st anniversary with diaspora representatives, university leaders and young people. A film and a joint operetta production highlighted cultural dialogue between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
